How to Open an Individual/Joint Account

Please complete and sign relevant account opening documents together with the following required personal documents, and submit to the Company by mail, or in person.

  • Personal identification document (such as a valid Hong Kong identity card or passport);
  • Address/Mailing Address proof within the last three months

Account Opening Notes

According to guidelines of the Commission, if the opening documents are not signed in the presence of our company’s staff, the client must:

  1. Arrange a witness to sign on the Client Agreement and on all other documents. The witness must provide his name, title and proof documents (such as business card) for verification. The witness must be a licensee/registrant or staff from a licensed/registered corporation. In other cases, he should be Justice of the Peace, certified public accountant, practicing lawyer, notary, or bank branch manager;
  2. Return the documents to the company together with a cheque with the same signature and same account name as those in opening documents. The cheque must be drawn from an account with minimum HK$10,000 opened in a licensed bank in Hong Kong, and payable to “Success Securities Limited”. The new account is only available after the cheque is cleared.

Before signing any document, please make sure that you have read, understood, and accept the contents in “Securities Trading Terms and Conditions”. To ensure that you clearly understand the terms and conditions, services and settlement procedures, our licensed persons will be in touch with you and explain in detail the above information.

If the client fails to provide sufficient documentary evidence, the company reserves the right to refuse the client’s account opening application without any explanation.
